Omidyar Networks
Omidyar Network is a philanthropic foundation, with a for-profit subsidiary, established by eBay founder Pierre Omidyar and his wife Pam. To date, Omidyar Network has committed more than $290 million to non-profit organizations and for-profit companies that foster economic advancement and encourage individual participation across multiple investment areas.
The London office focuses upon African investments and, in conjunction with Workplace Art, commissioned Jamie Brown to create a painted mural in the style and colours of “Dutch Wax” African fabrics, which is extremely bold, modern and in keeping with the rest of the artwork featured in the office. The imagery used relates to the type of projects that Omidyar are involved with, such as healthcare, education, technology, agriculture and craftsmanship
