Spitalfields Sculpture Prize 2010 (Making)
The winning artist, Kenny Hunter, together with Ian Welsh, the appointed external project educator, was required to develop a relationship with a nominated Tower Hamlets secondary school by instigating and advising on a related three dimensional project that had relevance to the winning submission, local environment and community.
Students were provided with all necessary materials and tuition, and were challenged to create pieces during one term with a view to exhibiting their work within Allen & Overy’s Foster & Partners designed headquarters in Spitalfields.
